Job description

  • Drive Digital Content Campaigns to increase impact for human rights
  • Join a global, not for profit organisation campaigning courageously for human rights for all
  • Permanent role, based in any our Action Centres (Melbourne or Sydney)

With a focus on email and website content, and using audience targeting, high quality content and a data informed approach, you will ensure digital campaigns are high performing, working to engage and retain supporters and drive agreed action.

AS PART OF THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Coordinate maintenance and development of content for AIA’s website
  • Contributing to planning, monitoring, reporting and analytics of the email program and website, specific to human rights campaigns and movement building
  • Plan and produce of a range of website and email creative and communications, including copywriting, editing and basic layout, to drive engagement and action through enhanced website and email performance
  • Maintain email and website landing page production and quality assurance
  • Contribute to the implementation and delivery of the Audience Strategy, in line with the People Powered Strategy
  • Repurpose global Amnesty content for local audiences
  • Maintain effective SEO for all website content
  • Collaborate with Movement Experience colleagues on testing plans for content variations
  • Providing training and support for email users in the organisation
  • Creating empowering, respectful and sensitive content and stories in collaboration with rights holders, marginalised groups, and those with lived experience
  • Undertake online moderation and community management duties in collaboration with wider Movement Experience team

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

  • Demonstrated skill set in building, producing and executing email and website content and campaigns;
  • Creative content production, including experience with design and copywriting;
  • Experience working with email campaign platforms;
  • Experience producing Digital Content across a range of platforms and formats;
  • Content and website performance analysis and reporting experience;
  • Solid project management skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICaTIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a similar role in a not-for-profit organisation in Australia;
  • Experience working on digital human rights campaigns;
  • Familiarity with human rights issues and social change methods and tactics, including mass mobilisation, activism and organising techniques; and
  • Demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with rights holders; and
  • Solid understanding of not for profit, and values based organisations.

This role is ideally suited to a Digital Content Producer who has sound experience in championing people power and mobilising campaigns for high impact.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate previous experience in producing engaging, high-quality content and high-performing digital campaigns, leading integration and driving efficiency, all with a collaborative approach.

The salary for this position is $87,797 + super + NFP tax benefit.
