About National Trust Queensland & Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] is membership-based, environmental charity which offers people the opportunity to feel connected to significant places, collections, and stories. As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
As we focus on delivering our organisation marketing strategy, we have an opportunity for a motivated and capable Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team, to support our Digital Marketing strategy and Digital Marketing projects. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for assisting with Digital Marketing activities – including supporting and optimising our Digital Marketing programs and executing strategies to drive business objectives including fundraising, brand awareness and visitation.
About the Role
As our organised Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing updates and the accuracy of our online systems, which include Shopify, Issuu, our website, our CRM and our trade portal. As part of this role, you will support the administration of the website, create landing pages, collate and make content edits, as well as support our exciting website transformation projects.
As a creative thinker, you will develop Digital Marketing materials - such as eDMs or digital adverts – sourcing artwork and collating content. You will assist with streamlining Digital Marketing production and creating workflows, as well as handling general Digital Marketing activities. Working with our marketing leadership team, you will report and track campaign progress - extracting insights and informing future strategies - to enhance our digital communications, customer experience and our campaigns.
As an individual with a high level of detail, you will leverage these skills to assist with optimising web platforms for search engines, database management, and work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to deliver on digital objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role and a good working knowledge of CMS, website backend and eCommerce systems. Other key skills we are looking for include:
- Proven experience in supporting Digital Marketing campaigns and marketing reporting.
- Good knowledge of website platforms, GA4 custom reports and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with data management and eDM tools.
- Basic Photoshop, HTML skills and basic understanding of SEO.
- Ability to craft copy for website and external communications, with exceptional spelling and grammar.
- Attention to detail, organised and able to prioritise tasks and work at a fast pace when required.
- Ability to work independently and flexibility to work onsite to be available to other business units.
- Tourism or Not For Profit experience an advantage
- Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in all weathers, in a role that requires substantial walking in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptiles.
