We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team, within a vibrant company in the fitness eCommerce sector!
The successful candidate will be a creative thinker, with good initiative, and an excellent team player. We are looking for someone with a zest for data-backed marketing, and paid campaign management! You will be working very closely alongside our in-house marketing consultant and Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing activities across the board.
About the role:
- Develop and implement efficient marketing strategies, while tracking and monitoring campaign performance across channels like email, SMS, paid social media, PPC, SEO, and beyond.
- Collaborate with other internal team members (e.g. product, purchase and sales managers) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives that reflect business goals.
- Analyse and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns, showing a strong understanding of data-backed performance marketing.
- Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new marketing opportunities within the industry.
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met.
- Create and manage high converting landing pages with an understanding of UX/UI and its impact.
- Create and manage products within Shopify Plus, with a strong understanding of SEO and its overall impact.
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
- Create compelling creative solutions that cater to a high-energy customer base within the gym and fitness sector.
- Work with external stakeholders, partners, and vendors to execute marketing programs.
- Daily website performance monitor, maintenance as well as product listing
Skills and experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in strategizing, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience in eCommerce, and eCommerce marketing. EDM
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot), and content management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as in a team.
- Strong understanding of SEO and its impact
- Ability to think outside of the box
