Digital Marketing Executive - (Maternity cover with the potential to be permanent)
Job purpose
the Digital Marketing Executive provides support to business to organise all aspects of marketing within the business, including (but not limited to) social media platforms, SEO, SEM, print & digital advertising, eDM’s and website. These services may range from management of social media, improving SEO performance, establishing network of best print avenues, review of branding, analysist of the market/industry, handling monthly eDM’s to the database and updates to the website within the established marketing plan and much more.At MW Tours, the Digital Marketing Executive provides support to business to organise all aspects of marketing within the business, including (but not limited to) social media platforms, SEO, SEM, print & digital advertising, eDM’s and website. These services may range from management of social media, improving SEO performance, establishing network of best print avenues, review of branding, analysist of the market/industry, handling monthly eDM’s to the database and updates to the website within the established marketing plan and much more.
Duties and responsibilities
The following is the primary job duties and responsibilities related to this role. Your tasks will include;
- Developing and implement a strategic marketing plan (with a large focus on digital)
- SEO, SEM and AdWords
- Social Media Management
- Digital and ‘guerrilla’ marketing campaigns driving user acquisition and engagement
- Translating the google methodology to digital advertising to the business
- All corporate & retail branding
- Maintain media presence and handle all PR, with regular contact through database eDM’s
- CRM/CMS management
- Flyer creation and a small amount of creative design.
- Maintain "Key" partnership agreements with outsourced suppliers
- Assist with brochure production, creative artwork & product
- Establish & Provide ongoing training with other team members and management
- Liaising with the Product team to establish tactical deals to the market, including developing timelines and procedures.
- Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news.
- Regular market analysis, competitor analysis and strategic industry alignment
Qualifications
The following is the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job. These are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.
Qualifications include (but not limited to):
- Degree in Marketing, eCommerce or Digital*
- 2-5+ years work experience post university in analytics, marketing, sales, or consulting*
- Experience and strong background in Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM, & Google.
- Salesforce or MailChimp background desired but not essential
- Wordpress or CMS experience
- InDesign, Adobe or Illustrator experience
- Strong experience on social media platforms
- Sufficient knowledge & Advanced skill of Microsoft Products (such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc)
- Travel knowledge of any of the following destinations preferrable but not essential: NE Asia, SE Asia, Africa & Indian Subcontinentent
- High Attention to detail
- Strong communication both oral & written
- Initiative & Strategic Thinker with an analytical approach
- Team Player
- Demonstrate strong time management skills
