Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is crucial for overseeing and improving the online presence of Modulate Group and our associated organisations through targeted social media campaigns and efficient Google Ads management. These organisations include Major Projects Group, a leader in industrial and marine demolition (https://www.majorprojects.net), and Major Projects Foundation, a charity focused on preventing oil spills from World War II shipwrecks (https://majorprojects.org.au).
Main Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy for all associated brands to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales for Modulate Group and donations for the Major Projects Foundation.
- Plan, create, and publish original, high-quality content on various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Analyse analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and improve future tactics.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Oversee the consistent presence of the company on social media, aligning with our branding and marketing goals.
Google Ads Management:
- Manage the setup, optimization, and performance of PPC campaigns on Google Ads.
- Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI based on performance metrics.
- Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues.
- Produce reports for management on the performance of campaigns to make data-driven decisions.
Other Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update company websites using WordPress (Major Projects Group and Major Projects Foundation) and Wix (Modulate Group) to ensure content is current, engaging, and functional.
- Publish and manage blog posts, enhancing our content marketing efforts and ensuring consistent traffic growth.
- Research and test new Digital Marketing strategies and technologies to identify new channels and tactics to reach our audience.
- Implement creative and cost-effective alternative Digital Marketing campaigns to broaden our digital footprint and enhance user engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital media, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of Digital Marketing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with social media management, Google Ads, SEO, PPC, and content management systems.
- Skills and experience in creative content writing.
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
