Job description

The Mental Fitness Gym is a free-to-use online platform that provides simple and engaging tools to build emotional muscles and removes traditional barriers to access support. This role is the owner of the Mental Fitness Gym, driving its adoption, growth and product development and delivery.

The Mental Fitness Gym Product Manager plays a key role in delivering Gotcha4Life's organisational growth plan. The Mental Fitness Gym launched in October 2023 and already has over 5,000 registered members, with over 30,000 people visiting the platform since launch. We are entering an exciting development phase of the Mental Fitness Gym and have ambitious plans to extend our reach and inspire more Australians to put mental fitness first through the expansion of our web platform and the launch of a mobile application.

The Mental Fitness Gym Product Manager must have the ability to balance strategic thinking with effective execution, and be driven by a passion for inspiring mental wellbeing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Digital Product Strategy: Develop and deliver the Digital product strategy for the Mental Fitness Gym, working closely with designers, developers, mental fitness experts, and content creators to create user-friendly and effective platforms for building mental fitness.

2. Platform Design and Development: Lead design and drive implementation of product roadmap. Generate evidence-based and data-informed ideas for new features, engagement content or platform improvements and see execution from conceptualisation to launch and beyond.

3. Member Engagement and Content Creation: Actively drive member engagement and communications to foster active participation within the Mental Fitness Gym community. Collaborate with content creators to continuously build relevant and beneficial content and features within the Gym that cater to user needs and preferences.

4. Data-Driven Decisions: Establish KPIs and use data analytics to measure the performance and impact of the Mental Fitness Gym, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvements and leveraging insights to drive product and feature initiatives.

5. Stakeholder Management: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to share the product vision, create buy-in and ensure alignment with our mission, program delivery strategy and the needs of our diverse user base. Effectively connect and balance the needs of different stakeholders varying from technical, creative, program delivery, partnerships and leadership.

6. Product Marketing: Manage product and feature launches and produce the key messaging and communications collateral. Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to develop effective member acquisition strategies and campaigns for the Mental Fitness Gym integrated with our broader marketing strategy.

7. Project Management: Lead Digital product development project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring the timely delivery of high quality mental fitness solutions.

We have a hybrid approach to work that continues to evolve as we respond to what is best for our team and the people and communities we serve. Currently, we come together as a team at our Sydney CBD office 2 days a week to connect and collaborate. On other days, our team works from either our office or from home – however it best works for them.

ABOUT YOU

Passion for Mental Fitness: An energy for building mental fitness through innovative initiatives and desire to make an impact in the digital health space. Experience in the mental health or wellness industry is a plus.

Product & Project Management: Demonstrated experience in product management, from concept to launch, to ongoing optimisation and growth. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders. Competence in digital collaboration, productivity, and project management platforms. Content Management: Experience in content strategy development and delivery, working with content creators to develop and manage relevant and engaging content.

Strategic Thinker: A strategic, insights-driven thinker and creator who can inspire and drive momentum. Ability to drive user focused product development and manage priorities and trade-offs between workstreams.

Relationship Management: Proven track record of excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship development. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve desired results. Outstanding verbal and written communication and storytelling skills.

Adaptable Problem-Solver: Flexibility and adaptability to work through ambiguity and changing landscapes, while autonomously and constructively solving problems within a flexible/hybrid team-based environment.
