Our client, a Queensland State Government Department, are currently seeking an experienced
Project Manager for a web content improvement project of departmental websites including content published to the Queensland Government website.
Key requirements:- Experience or qualifications in:
- waterfall or agile project management methodologies
- human-centred design and digital solution delivery.
- Understanding of the Queensland Government web environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to lead a small team and manage stakeholders at varying levels.
Role description:- Manage all aspects of identified projects, including work package delivery, budget, vendor relationships and contracts, recruitment, stakeholder engagement and reporting
- Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables to ensure they meet best practice and mandatory standards, are informed by consumer insights, trends and research, and comply with relevant policies

- Support departmental policies and procedures and contribute to effective governance processes
- Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of project staff.
The successful candidate must:- demonstrate high-level project management skills and the ability to achieve successful project outcomes

- use high-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills in a complex project environment

Mandatory requirements:- Experience or qualifications in waterfall or Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience or qualifications in human-centred design and digital solution delivery would be highly regarded
