Meredith Dairy (est. 1991) is an Australian family business, based in the western districts of Victoria. On our farm, we have our own animals, and produce fresh cheeses and yoghurts from socially and environmentally responsible sheep and goat's milk.

We specialize in fresh cheeses and yoghurts due to our high quality, year-round supply of fresh milk. Our unique, simple, fresh flavour is a consequence of our daily production of milk and sustainable principles.

Meredith dairy products are used extensively in Australia's famous cafe and restaurant scene, and have experienced success internationally due to our consistency, company values and impeccable quality.

About the role

The digital Media Coordinator role at Meredith Dairy is responsible for expanding the reach of our digital media network and building the brand across multiple channels. The digital Media Coordinator will also conduct marketing communications to internal publics. This including editing our internal newsletter and assisting with the management of staff events. 

The marketing team at Meredith is a small but effective. You will report to the marketing manager and be including in planning, decision making and continuous improvement. The marketing team is integrated with a national sales team, where you will assist with new product launches, sales team resources and customer service.

This is an exciting role that will develop your skills while giving you broad experience in marketing. Marketing training or experience, although useful, is not essential. 

Our main office is at Meredith, and we have an office at our distribution centre in Truganina. Our business operates seven days a week. This position offers great flexibility.

Advertising

• Participate in advertising campaign planning. Ideation, content planning, targeting, etc.
• Participate in, outsource or solely create the content for the campaign.
• A-B test the content the content to achieve the best ROI.
• Create end of campaign report to document learnings and important metrics

Public relations (PR)

• Help grow Meredith Dairy media and influencer contact list.
• Leverage media and influencer contacts to achieve PR promotion.
• Work with sales team to grow and position the Meredith Dairy brand through PR opportunities.
• Develop and distribute press releases.

Internal marketing

• Work with internal marketing team to plan and implement internal marketing campaigns, projects, and events.
• Assist in recruitment, and drive retention of Meredith Dairy team members.

Direct marketing

• Maintain and grow house list.
• Manage the email digital marketing promotional activities, including internal and external newsletters.
• Participate in direct business opportunities.

Graphic design

• Liaise with external graphic designer to develop packaging, advertising, and POS promotional assets.
• Utilise graphic design software to create basic marketing collateral where the external graphic designer is inappropriate or unnecessary. 

Brand collateral

• Organise, catalog, and distribute brand collateral to team members and customers.
• Participate in the outsourcing of photography and video assets.

Brand management

• Develop an understanding of the Meredith Dairy brand personality and style book.
• Grow brand awareness of Meredith Dairy to the target market.
• Manage the Meredith Dairy brand perception through effective communication.
