- This role will be employed under the Standard Contract of Employment - Senior Staff and will be ongoing subject to regular performance reviews.
- Remuneration Package ranging between $266 - 310K which includes Salary, Superannuation and a Leaseback Vehicle.

The Role
As the Director of Communities & Place, you will lead multiple critical sectors including Community Life & Libraries, Waste and Resource Recovery, Environment & Sustainability, and Development Assessment and Regulation. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring that the Council meets its regulatory obligations and fulfills its community leadership role effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in managing transformations, improving processes, and engaging a diverse team to foster a progressive environment where innovation thrives.
The Person
We are looking for an energetic and passionate leader who can effectively inspire and manage a diverse team. Your expertise will be pivotal in initiating positive changes, focusing on customer-centric outcomes, and building strong networks across all business areas. A strategic thinker with a proven track record in public sector management, you will be adept at navigating the complexities of local government and community engagement.
