The Director for FIGwill play a key role in managing financial institution relationships and in the development of additional income from new products and customers. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with Financial Institutions in Beijing and will help FIG to grow its line of business and maximise cross sell and revenue generation opportunities across the broad section of products that ANZ offers. Your role will have a particular focus on the investment banking opportunities such as capital markets, FX hedging, structure product & distribution of fixed income and structured instruments. In this role, you will assess resources required to effectively capitalise and build on business opportunities and also leverage on existing contacts across Chinese financial institutions. Being a key member of the bank, you will also uphold ANZ’s values of Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
Develop and implement client strategies in conjunction with product parters and relevant parties to identify the right product and service opportunities
Work with product partners and other business units to identify opportunities and execute solutions
Ensure quality of portfolio through sound credit assessment, lending decisions and accurate account management

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive knowledge of Institutional and Investment Banking products
Knowledge of and have good client relationships in the FIG industry
Deep knowledge of Transaction Banking products (including cash, clearing, custody, and trade)
Strong Sales focus and the ability to identify potential opportunities and develop into profitable sales for other product areas including FX, Capital Markets, Trade and Transactional Banking services
Strong customer focus and the ability to focus effort on delivering to client needs
Strong collaboration skills and with demonstrated ability to build solid internal and external relationships
