Job Description:
As the Director of Training Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of
aviation training at Adelaide Aviation Pty Ltd. You will be responsible for developing
innovative training programs, enhancing existing curriculum, and ensuring compliance with
regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team of
instructors and contribute to the growth and success of our flight school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for aspiring pilots,
ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with instructional staff to design engaging and effective learning
materials, including manuals, presentations, and simulations.
- Conduct regular reviews of Training content and delivery methods to identify areas
for improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the training department budget and resource allocation to support program
development and delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among
training staff, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation industry trends, technological
advancements, and regulatory changes to inform training strategies.
Requirements:
- Hold minimum a valid CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) Commercial Pilot
Licence
- Extensive experience in aviation training, including instructional design, curriculum
development, and program management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of instructors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of innovation and creativity in developing training solutions that
meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and standards, particularly in the
Australian context.
- Preferably multilingual to effectively communicate with Adelaide Aviation
international partner’s
