- Key Strategic role advising on total Asset Management for the portfolio
- Temporary 12-month opportunity - full-time hours
- Office location - The Rocks, Sydney
- Executive TRP relative to experience, and ranges from $223,417 to $247,520
Its precincts include The Rocks (Sydney's oldest historic harbourside precinct and the birthplace of modern Sydney), Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, Luna Park, Ballast Point Park, and waterfront areas in Pyrmont, as well as unique venues such as the Chinese Garden of Friendship and major event facilities at the International Convention Centre.
In addition, Placemaking NSW is undertaking remediation and conservation works at White Bay Power Station in Rozelle and has been appointed as Master Plan Developer for Bays West, with Stage 1 planning to be delivered in time for the opening of the Metro West line. Placemaking NSW is also responsible for post-completion management of the New Sydney Fish Markets in partnership with Infrastructure NSW.
About You
You will have extensive practical experience in Asset Management and substantial understanding of asset reliability planning, funding, specification and procurement including an in-depth knowledge of NSW Treasury requirements as outlined in TPP19-07 Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector. Experience in conservation management of heritage assets would also be extremely beneficial in this role.
Your strategic mindset will be the key to success in this interesting role as you aim to achieve a balance between commercial, sustainability, and community objectives while balancing the complexity of ongoing expansion of PMNSW's responsibilities, including new developments, precinct evolution and heritage management.
As a driven leader, you will enjoy developing a high performing team. You will also have demonstrated high-level stakeholder management skills and be a strong advocate for cross-team collaboration. A commitment to compliance and effective processes will underpin your work at all times and you will have a passion for championing Asset Management across your organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant degree qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Business or equivalent experience
