We're seeking a dynamic individual to take the reins as our Disability Programs Coordinator, responsible for managing and coordinating our Disability Cricket programs. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the strategic initiatives of Community Cricket within WA Cricket, ensuring that individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to enjoy the sport they love.

You will
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of Disability Cricket programs and initiatives aligned to Community Cricket's strategic goals.
- Support and assist WA Cricket Field Force Teams and community cricket clubs to grow and sustain Disability Cricket programs and competitions.
- Assist in the training of volunteers, coaches and umpires to support inclusion and Disability Cricket programs.
- Collaborate with other WA Cricket inclusion specialists to develop and deliver holistic strategies to promote inclusive environments in clubs.
- Develop operational plans to sustain and develop the Integrated Cricket League (ICL), Star Blast Program, Inclusion Academy and Blind Cricket initiative.
- Lead the operations and logistics for delivery of key Inclusion events.
- Manage all program requirements for the National Cricket Inclusion Championships and participating teams, ensuring all player eligibility and classifications are met.
- Oversee representative player apparel purchasing and distribution.
- Represent WA on national working groups for Inclusion and Diversity as required.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in disability or inclusive sports program promotion and coordination.
- Proven experience in sports administration or sporting industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially to those of diverse backgrounds.
- Aptitude to assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies.
- Ability to work to deadlines, communicate effectively while maintaining a flexible approach and contributing to a team environment.
- Accountable, disciplined and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Strong results orientation with the proven ability to plan and deliver results.
- Highly developed Microsoft Office computer knowledge
- Project planning skills.
- Tertiary or qualifications in sports administration and sports development and or event management (desirable).
- Undertaken Inclusive sports coaching courses or relevant modules (desirable).
