Address About the Company: Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health. The Role: Unidex is currently looking for Disability Support Workers and Nurses to work with a range of participants based in Bundaberg and Bargara, QLD. Unidex have multiple Clients in the area we are currently recruiting for. As NIISQ & NDIS providers we specialize in working with clients with brain and spinal cord injuries. Most of our clients require complex care support for a range of disabilities including personal care.
Various shift available in the Morning and afternoon
Successful candidates will be provided full training and upskilling with our clinical support team.
Pay Rates:
Day - $40.00 per hour
Evening - $44.50 per hour
Saturday - $57.00 per hour
Sunday - $75.00 per hour
Sleepover shifts maybe available in future.
Travel Allowance $0.96 per kilometre (applies when transporting to/from medical related appointments only)
Key Responsibilities:
Assistance with personal care
Completing skin checks
Bowel therapy
Catheter care and changes
Assist to setup / meal preparation and cleaning up afterwards
Assistance with domestic tasks (e.g. laundry, clean toilet, clean floor etc)
Parenting assistance
Parenting assistance (Participant to be present at all times)
Daily Monitoring & Reporting of his current health conditions
Companionship & Capacity Building
Skills & Experiences:
Previous experience working with spinal cord injuries
Australian Driver Licence
Current National Police Clearance
Current NDIS Screening Card or Yellow Card
Current Blue Card
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
