Experience in Disability Support is an advantage, but not essential – we welcome candidates who are willing to learn and make a positive impact on the lives of others. This role offers flexibility, making it an ideal fit for those looking to work around school drop-offs, returning to work after parental leave, or fitting work around study requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Engage daily and meet the individual's needs following set guidelines
• Provide emotional support in accordance with established protocols
• Assist with daily household chores and skill-building activities
• Support in workplace and community integration
• Tailor communication to suit individual interests and needs
• Assist in caring for a pet/assistance dog
• Aid in cleaning and meal preparation
• Maintain written reports and data collection
• Attend meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

• Valid WWVP/Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Access to a vehicle with valid insurance for travel to various locations
