About You
Person centred care is vital for our clients. Support Workers will need to understand the true meaning of a person-centred approach. We’d like a team of Support Workers to build a social rapport with our clients, ensuring their needs are met emotionally as well as physically. You will thrive off building your clients capacity, supporting them to live the way they want to!
To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded Support Workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.
In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:
- 6-12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Medication Administration Certificate
- WWVP Card
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training
- Driver’s License & own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Mental Health Experience
Additional competencies such as experience and/or qualification in Mental Health will be looked upon favourably. Community participation and intertest in activities is vital for the role.
