Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Document Controller to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Region. You will form a key part of the growing team and will work alongside and be developed by a dedicated and experienced Document Control team. The projects we work on are significant, multidisciplinary projects.
As we look to transition from traditional energy sources to adopt more renewable alternatives, you can play a key role in enabling and accelerating this change.
We partner with many tier one clients across resources, renewable energy and utilities projects and will offer great flexible working opportunities and is supported by an environment that encourages individual development.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Assist the Document Control Lead in the implementation of the project document control system, workflows, procedures, and work instructions.
- Hands-on Document Control Management of project design and vendor data.
- Registration, QAQC, revision control, and distribution of all electronic and hard copy deliverables, ensuring traceability throughout the document lifecycle.
- Development and implementation of distribution matrices.
- Coordinate the internal and external review and approval of project data.
- Generate status and expediting reports of internal and external deliverables as required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in document control in Resources or Engineering
- Experience with Electronic Document Management systems, with exposure to Bentley ProjectWise, Aconex, or TeamBinder seen as advantageous.
- A highly flexible approach to Document Control and project work across multiple and diverse projects.
- Great communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Intermediate use of MS Office and Adobe Pro
