We are seeking motivated Domestic Services Officers to join our team in providing an efficient and safe service working across the North West Regional Hospital.
A successful Domestic Services Officer will:
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in ward and ancillary areas in accordance with established policies, standards and guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collect and dispose of all waste including contaminated waste into appropriate receptacles.
- Provide a domestic service, including infection control cleaning across wards, office and residences.
- Follow universal precautions when conducting infection control cleaning of cytotoxic and sterile areas.

Details of Appointment
Multiple fixed term, casual, shift-worker positions available, working as and when required
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $35.08 - $36.50 per hour (including 25% loading). Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Health Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022
