Flip Screen Australia manufactures the world’s best, high volume, patented screening bucket that inexpensively and efficiently screens any material on site for any industry. Its multi award winning screening and recycling attachment is built for skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes and telehandlers. We are experiencing considerable growth and are on the lookout for an experienced Draftsperson to join our team. You will be part of an upcoming and revolutionary product release as well as sustaining the current product growth. This position is based at Wagga Wagga working from the office.
Duties Include:
- Designing and 3D/2D modelling of new assemblies and parts as per requirements
- Creating detailed fabrication drawings for production
- Ability to reverse engineer
- Updating and revising of existing assemblies and drawings when required
- Liaising with workshop personnel and managers in implementing new design
- Maintaining Drawing Register with up-to-date drawings.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Have 2+ years experience in product designing, 3D/2D modelling new assemblies and parts.
- Strong experience using SolidWorks
- Experience with Microsoft Office software programs essential
- Ability to comprehensively read and understand drawings
- Highly motivated self-starter and Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
