Job description

Clark Rubber, a 76 year old iconic Australian retailer, is looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to manage a new website platform and the SEO/SEM digital requirements of the brand.

Reporting to the GM Marketing, the primary objective of the role is to both implement digital marketing campaigns driving online traffic, conversion and sales and provide detail analysis and reporting on the efficiency of marketing activity.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage SEO agency relationship to ensure best website optimisation.
  2. Manage Google ad account and optimise spend.
  3. Provide guidance to the Customer Service Team as required regarding processes, usability and functionality of the online store such as fraud mitigation, order processing and shipping.
  4. Work with the Brand Manager to ensure the Clark Rubber brand is accurately and consistently represented on website.
  5. E-commerce day-to-day maintenance by:
    a. Working collaboratively with the merchandise teams to ensure online product merchandising standards are followed.
    b. Working with IT to manage areas of improvement around site functionality, UI And UX.
  6. Co-ordination and accuracy of website content both on campaign and off campaign including:
    a. Product data and images.
    b. Banners and promotional areas.
    c. Promotions / Coupons / Shopping Cart Price Rules.
    d. CMS and Landing Pages.
    e. Blog content management and optimisation.
  7. Work collaboratively with the category teams to ensure online product merchandising standards are followed. 
  8. Work with IT to manage areas of improvement around site functionality, UI And UX.

Skills required:

  • Excellent understanding of website platforms and E-commerce.
  • SEO, SEM, web analytics and campaign reporting.
  • Strong co-ordination and administration skills.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

About You:

You are a self starter, excellent time manager and have experience in managing website projects dealing with complex IT requirements. 
You have 3-4 years’ experience in retail digital marketing and E-commerce, and you have a thorough understanding of E-commerce platform management systems like Magento, Shopify. Experience in SEO and SEM campaign management and reporting is a given. Clear communication is your strength.
