What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?

• You would be employed by Work & Training – the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship.
• You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
• The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by registered trainers.
• At the completion of your traineeship you will receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care – CHC30121. 

Learning in the job to:

• Plan and assist with activities to enhance childhood development.
• Promote healthy habits – including meals, sleeping and play.
• Develop strong relationships with staff and families.
• Understand the importance of safety, learning and wellbeing in Early Childhood.
