Code Camp ignites the spark of creativity in children by teaching them to code in a fun and engaging way. We partner with schools to run after-school and holiday programmes in coding, robotics, animation, and more. Our mission is to equip children with critical thinking and technical skills, preparing them for the future.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Education Consultant with a rich background in school leadership (ideally ex primary school Principal or Deputy) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping our approach to becoming an indispensable partner to schools. By leveraging your deep insights into school operations, educational strategies, and student engagement, you will guide us in refining and customising our offerings to meet and exceed the expectations of schools. This position is centred around educational strategy and collaboration, with no sales responsibilities. This is a part time, contract role, and will be project based. We are open to all situations: whether you are in full time employment looking for something extra; in between roles; or retired…we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert insights into the education sector, particularly around school needs, decision-making processes, and curriculum integration opportunities.
Product Development Insight: Work closely with our product and curriculum teams to evaluate and refine potential programme offerings, ensuring they align with school curriculums and values.
Partnership Development: Advise on strategies to enhance school partnerships, including the optimisation of resource allocation (e.g., computer labs, classrooms) and marketing efforts to reach the student body effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement: Help be a liaison between Code Camp and educational institutions, facilitating conversations and initiatives that strengthen our value proposition to schools.
Feedback Loop: Establish and maintain a feedback mechanism with schools to continuously adapt and improve our offerings based on direct insights from the educational frontlines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Principal or senior leadership role within the education sector.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about educational needs and solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and nurturing relationships with educational stakeholders.
Experience in educational programme development, evaluation, and deployment.
Flexible and innovative thinker with a passion for education technology and the potential of coding and digital literacy.
Availability to engage on a project basis, with compensation structured on an hourly rate.
