About the opportunity

We have a new opportunity for an Education Program Manager to join our Operations team at Moran Health Care Group. The role is a leadership role, developing Education Programs and materials that can be delivered locally by education co-ordinators through a train the trainer model. The role is based at Moran Kellyville, with periodic visits to four other homes and work from home hybrid option available.

These initiatives underscore our commitment to delivering high-quality care consistently across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

The Education Program Manager has responsibility for developing and implementing education initiatives to enhance workforce capability, pathways streams for employee development, skill capability progression, and the onboarding structure for staff.

Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, this position will concentrate on delivering, coordinating, planning, and executing continuous education initiatives within Moran Homes (MH). The incumbent will hold overall responsibility for initiating activities to ensure the identification and fulfilment of both individual and organizational educational needs.

The Education Program Manager plays a vital and integral role within the Operations team, collaborating closely with the Clinical Governance Lead (CGL) while providing support to the General Managers (GM) and Care Managers (CM) across various homes.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1– Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Certificate 4 in Workplace Assessment and Training or working towards
  • Driver’s license
  • Excellent and demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Current Police Check
  • Appropriate Working Rights
