Working with Programmed Skilled Workforce means you will become part of the Programmed family: a company that encourages career development, supports flexibility and cares about your personal wellbeing and safety.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RTO Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional vocational education and training services. In this role, you will oversee the strategic direction, operations, compliance, and continuous improvement of our RTO. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and industry partners to develop and deliver innovative training solutions that meet the evolving needs of learners and industries across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Chart the course for achieving our vision and mission through clear strategic leadership and direction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and standards, including ASQA, the VET Quality Framework, and funding regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Team Management: Lead, guide, and mentor our team of trainers, assessors, and administrative personnel in delivering top-tier training and assessment services.
  • Policy and Quality Assurance: Craft and uphold policies, procedures, and processes that enhance the integrity and quality of our training offerings.
  • Culture of Excellence: Cultivate an environment that prioritizes innovation, continuous improvement, and educational excellence.
  • Industry Engagement: Develop and maintain robust relationships with industry partners, employers, and government bodies to ensure our training remains relevant and engaged with industry needs.
  • Product and Service Development: Direct the creation and launch of training products and services that respond to market demands and industry evolution.

Business Development and Funding Initiatives: Lead strategic business development efforts to promote and enhance our training solutions. This includes travel, engaging with potential partners, and actively exploring and applying for funding opportunities to support and expand our programs.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualification: A Diploma in Vocational Education and Training or an equivalent is essential.
  • RTO Management Experience: Demonstrable extensive experience in leading an RTO or a comparable educational entity.
  • Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the Australian vocational education and training landscape, encompassing relevant laws, standards, and policies.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: A proven ability to meet regulatory standards and deliver superior training results consistently.
  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic Aptitude: Strong capability in strategic planning, problem-solving, and making informed decisions.
  • Professional Growth: A commitment to personal and professional growth, with a keen eye on industry trends and best practices.
  • Regulatory Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of vocational education and training sector regulations, including insights into funding body requirements.
  • Agility: The skill to navigate and adapt to evolving industry trends, changes in the regulatory landscape, and shifting market demands, ensuring the RTO's resilience and responsiveness.
  • Team Development: Expertise in guiding and nurturing a diverse team, fostering a culture that meets performance goals and delivers high-quality educational outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Focus: Dedication to fulfilling the expectations of learners, industry partners, employers, and other key stakeholders through the provision of top-tier training and assessment services.
  • Continuous Improvement: An unwavering dedication to continuous learning, applying industry best practices, and staying ahead of emerging trends.
  • Ethical Standards: Upholding the highest levels of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in every action and decision.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and collaboration.
  • Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
  • Access to employee benefits such as wellness programs, discounted gym memberships, and professional development opportunities.

Ability to travel is mandatory for this role. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team with a desired commitment to provide quality training to our existing and new employees.
