About the role
As a key member of the Education Team, you will apply your understanding of education program support to assist the doctors and nurses studying with us. You will collaborate with our Education Service Providers (contractors), who teach, tutor, present and assess our courses; supporting them to ensure the effective administration of our education programs. You will also support the delivery of live course content (e.g. online lectures) and assist students throughout their learning pathways.
Some weekend and after-hours work will be involved in supporting online courses (approximately 5-8 Saturdays/year plus some evening work). This work is spread across the Education Team and the hours are agreed well in advance. Such work is compensated via additional time off (TOIL) and/or overtime to ensure a positive work-life balance.

- Strong student/customer support skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of adult learners and educators.
- An ability to develop and build effective relationships, trust, and credibility with internal and external stakeholders, including working collaboratively to support other team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with accuracy, attention to detail, consistent use of well-structured language, confident speaking ability and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Creative thinking with an ability to problem solve administrative and basic technical issues (e.g. with logging in to online systems or screen sharing using Zoom) related to your role.
