About the role:
This an exciting opportunity to join our training and assessment team as an Educator - Trainer & Assessor. This position is responsible for providing Nationally Recognised training that is of a high standard for all qualifications, and units of competency and skill sets in its current scope of registration. The Educator Trainer and Assessor is responsible for supervising and completing workplace observations both in simulated and work-place environments for students undertaking our Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015), Cert IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) and Administer & Monitor Medications (HLTHPS007).
About you:
You must be able to demonstrate strong clinical leadership and a high level of engagement with learners of diverse backgrounds and capability. You must also be willing to travel and able to provide your own transport.
It is essential that you have current registration with AHPRA and at a minimum, a qualification as an Endorsed Enrolled nurse. Registered nurses should also apply.
You will also be required to hold a current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and industry qualification relevant to qualifications delivered.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Healthcare professional with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in Aged, Community and Disability services
- Highly proficient Trainer and Assessor of adult learning and assessment
- Demonstrated currency of relevant industry knowledge and practice
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to foster positive relations and influence outcomes.
