About the role

We are looking for Electrical Maintainers - Mine Water Management / Dewatering for upcoming opportunities to carry out maintenance, breakdown and installation work associated with the Dewatering Site Services, specifically in pit stand-alone power generation and submersible pump assets. Whether you're new to your profession or experienced in your field, and whatever industry you have exposure to, we have opportunities that will provide interesting work and growth opportunities for everyone.

You'll be part of a friendly and high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You'll work an 8 days on, 6 offroster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

  • Carrying out scheduled Dewatering maintenance
  • Installing and servicing submersible and sump pumps
  • Providing operational feedback to Supervisors and being responsible for following Rio Tinto Iron Ore safe work practices
  • Maintaining statutory electrical inspections and records as required by MSIR

What you'll bring

  • WA "A" Grade Electrical License
  • A Manual C-class Australian driver's licence (HR desirable)
