Engagement and Partnership Manager at Gippsland Region Public Health Unit

•Work with a variety of subject matter experts in Aboriginal Health, Community Engagement, Workforce Development and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for aEngagement and Partnership Manager to join our Gippsland Region Public Health Unit on a part time to full time basis for atwo-year period until June 30, 2026.The GRPHU is led and coordinated by Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is one of nine local public health units across Victoria working closely with the Department of Health in a state-wide system of public health delivery and response. GRPHU works throughout the Gippsland region across the public health pillars of prevention, protection and promotion.
The Engagement and Partnership Manager is a leadership role desiged to:
Actively guide and participate in the development and progression of Engagement and Partnerships with community and other stakeholders across the Gippsland region and other networks
Work collaboratively with the GRPHU Managers as appropriate to progress, consolidate and timely communicate the activities of the GRPHU
Promote and ensure excellence in engagement by all team members
Timely evaluation of partnership development and engagement activities through regular review of performance indicators, data management and activity tracking systems
Foster skills and expertise in community engagement amongst the wider team through appropriate training and education

We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree or qualification in a relevant discipline (community development, community engagement, communications or public health)
- A Current Driver Licence and willingness and ability travel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable qualifications:
- International Association of Public Participation Qualification (IAP2)
- Post graduate qualifications in Public Health and/or Business Administration or equivalent Management and or Leadership experience
