ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to be part of our team and ongoing success, working on our current on-going FIFO/DIDO projects.

You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and the team to achieve deliverables, aware of contractual obligations and maximise profitability. You will ensure tasks are in alignment with the company’s values and operational procedures which include safety, environmental and quality standards.

This specific role will be focused on an on-going project –and will provide support to a specific scope of work.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support resource management and coordination with respect to people, plant and equipment.
  • Effectively lead, coach and support a team of team members across a range of disciplines.
  • Interface and work closely with our onsite engineers to ensure overall project progress, quality and safety.
  • Assist with drawing interpretation and onsite quality requirements.
  • Drive a culture of safety excellence centred on self and others.
  • Lead and effectively manage client engagement and key stakeholder relationships.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar related field (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering/Civil)
  • 5+ years of construction industry experience, ideally with earthworks, roads, transport infrastructure or drainage related projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with your team, your clients, and your suppliers.
