About the role
As the Engineering and Operations Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing staff management, CAPEX management, contractor management, property risk and compliance management, fitout management, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of the Building Services Supervisor (direct report) to ensure that they have clear direction and guidelines so that quality productivity is achieved.
- Through management of the Building Services Supervisor (direct report), oversee the management of contractors' maintenance schedules, ad hoc repairs, and compliance requirements as per agreed contracts for services.
- Management of the preparation, and subsequent action items resulting from site audits.
- Management of tenant's contractors conducting fitouts and alterations within the building.
- Assist the Management Team with associated required tasks and reporting requirements.
About you
To excel in this role, you need at least 5 years of experience in commercial property and facilities services management within an A or Premium Grade commercial asset, along with a deep understanding of local occupational health and safety regulations, critical facilities, vendor management for specialised services, and technical aspects of property. Demonstrating the ability to address multiple complex issues simultaneously under tight deadlines with strong problem-solving skills will also ensure your success in this role.
