CBased Environmental, a leading supplier of environmental monitoring services throughout NSW is seeking a full time Environmental Scientist to join our reporting team. The position is based in Singleton with remote/work from home options avilable following a short training period. You will work closely with all employees, clients and suppliers to provide professional services to support our environmental monitoring activities. Your primary role will be to undertake detailed data analysis, data validation and results interpretation before preparing and delivering comprehensive monitoring reports to our clients.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing monitoring data for large mining projects, including downloading and validating environmental data;
- Preparing detailed environmental monitoring reports;
- Directly managing client enquires and implementing changes to meet client needs;
- Communicating changes within the business effectively;
- Reporting environmental data to clients via quality written reports (both simple and complex);
- Identifying and investigating anomalies and inconsistencies in data as they occur and implement corrective actions;
- Liaising with clients and other professionals to complete project work;
- Supporting clients to achieve environmental management outcomes and to meet quality standards;
- Completing projects to meet deadlines, quality of work and to ensure the renewal of contracts; and
- Reviewing reports from other workers for quality.

- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to work and liaise with team members, clients and all relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- Strong computer literacy skills, with demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs;
- An understanding of environmental monitoring and/or laboratory functions;
- Degree qualifications in science, environmental science or equivalent; and
- At least 12 months experience in a similar role.
