The role:
As a Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator at KBR you will be responsible for providing support to projects across the defence industry, overseeing processes, agreements, relationships and deliverables. You will be required to participate in the fulfilment of all contract requirements, interface with internal business areas to ensure and assure contract compliance.
Reporting into the Contract Manager you will have the responsibility of assisting in preparations and negotiations with sub-contractors for the calling of quotations and letting of contracts as well as providing contract administration services to assist in the project's control of contract costs.
In this role you will use specialised knowledge and skills to solve complex and unique problems. You will be involved in establishing the function of CA in this project and delivering within ASDEFCON terms. Aggregating data from suppliers and managing deliverables for each contractor will also be imperative.
This position is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Sydney
Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the contractual correspondence, notices, claims etc for the main contract and subcontractor arrangements.
- Assist the commercial team in maintaining contract records that ensures compliance with various sub contract terms.
- Undertake contract analysis and reporting.
- Support the Commercial Manager in contractual, procurement and financial activities of the contract and ensure all internal approvals are sought.
- Coordinate with related areas including operations, finance and project controls and assist in the delivery of the contractual reporting requirements.
