About the Role:
We are looking for competent equipment operator to play a supporting role to our NSW Site Manager at our Grafton site.
The successful candidate will have a min. of 3 years or more experience in a similar role with a reputable commercial builder, civil contractor.
About You:
In this role you will be:
- General labouring and equipment operator
- Ability to operate 5T Excavator and ideally have experience/tickets in the following: Skid Steer, Telehandler & other construction / civil equipment on site.
- As the equipment operator, you need a general knowledge of common tasks and responsibilities at construction sites, an understanding of proper construction safety procedures, and 3 years of experience working with a skid steer &/or other equipment.
- Daily tasks involve loading spoil material into site trucks, trenching, unloading of deliveries and general labouring
- Create appropriate safety controls in place Operator will work in close proximity to equipment and people and operate at all times in a safe manner.
- Perform daily fluid level checks on oil, water and fuel; Visual inspection for obvious leaks and damage to machine before operation of equipment as well as safety equipment checks.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe working order. Responsible for notifying supervisor if equipment needs to be repaired
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction
- Construction Card
- Skid steer ticket &/or other equipment
- Drivers Licence
