Job Opportunity –
In this role you are to maintain the earthmoving fleets nationally and make sure that operation runs smoothly without any hiccups. The business has achieved some record-breaking months and its down to you to facilitate the operation, achieve its goals each month. You will develop relationships with customers and suppliers whilst streamlining the hire business. You will work with each department from field service, workshop, parts, and sales to make sure the overall business succeeds in moving forward as one. With branches in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA the Service managers will have a dotted line to you so you can evaluate and keep on top equipment damages and all service-related issues. You will also be involved in key tenders and work with the sales department to ensure a smooth process for new machine deliveries for Hire to key customers on the east coast. With the engagement of the hire process from invoicing, damages repairs and chasing up customer to reinsure and recover any customer related problems or concerns. You will also approve all repair budgets and maintain clear communication to the General manager on the movement and operational direction of the hire fleet for all projects.
Candidate Requirements –
- 5 + Years in Operational Management within Construction equipment Hire
- Strong Service management experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven leadership and managerial skills
- Cert 3 Heavy Mobile Mechanic
- High attention to detail with excellent administration skills
This role is looking for someone that has excellent attention to detail someone that can work at all levels but manage and lead different teams in the business. You eye for detail along with excellent time management is the key to your success. Proven experience working and managing large workshops is essential as you will also be in direct contact with the head office in delivering machinery to new key customers throughout Australia through and operational direction.
Salary Package –
- Base Salary - $140,000 - $150,000
- Company Car – Fully Maintained
- Superannuation – 11%
