Estimator & Sales Representative

We are looking for a unique passionate and driven individual to become a part of our Estimating team.

This role is a key position in the business and requires someone with passion, determination and a proactive nature to produce efficient and accurate work on a day-to-day basis.

The role is fast paced, multi-faceted and will see candidates over a diverse range of construction methods and products. You will be heavily dealing with our client base and required to build strong relationships to continue expanding our repeat customer history.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing plans, attending site inspections and compiling take-offs and costings for projects of varying sizes and complexities
• Experience developing construction or civil methodologies
• Assistance with costing of variations during project delivery
• Consult with clients, vendors, designers, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates
• Identify cost trends to assist management
• Handover to construction team on successful tenders/estimates
• Working with the sales team to improve sales conversion rates
• Creating interpersonal relationships with our client base and building upon this

The successful candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in Estimating in Construction or Civil Sector
• Experience in Australian Civil or Construction industries is crucial 
• Build strong relationships and foster long-term partnerships
• Ability to work under pressure to meet urgent deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Adaptability and responsiveness to change
