ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent full-time position based in our Head Office in Wangara, Perth.

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to be part of our team to assist with our work winning activities targeting projects with new and existing clients within the resources and infrastructure space. This opportunity will allow you to manage and price a select portfolio of your own projects, work closely with our in-house delivery leads to understand complex scopes of work, develop bespoke delivery methodologies, and ensure the overall accuracy of our tender.

The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in developing bid winning strategy’s, preparing and refining bid pricing options, assisting to develop the support teams and assist with negotiating of projects which may be both local to Perth or in regional WA locations.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop and prepare first principal estimates across a range of projects which may include roads, bridges, drainage, earthworks, concrete, and other civil related packages.
• Manage your strong local network and existing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes/pricing.
• Engage and lead with overall constructability reviews and work sequencing requirements and to assist with any necessary design interface.
• Attend site visits and conduct client briefings.
• Lead tender reviews incorporating feedback and re-pricing into the final estimate.
• For successful awards, assist with the project handovers to project teams.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• At least 10-15 years in the Construction Industry – Preferably WA experience
• Earthworks, roadworks, services installation experience essential.
• Ability to price up self-preformed work.
• Ability to use expert estimation software.
• Experience in MRWA and/ or Resources Sector also preferred.
• Experience working with Teir 1 or 2 Companies
• Ability to manage and price tenders ranging between $10m - $100m.
