Key focus ranges from community initiatives to large-scale government projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Event Manager to jointtheir team on a short-term basis to lead and execute a series of pivotal events.Day to day activitiesAs a Short-Term Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that meet the organisation's high standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a knack for detail and a proven track record in event management, particularly within the government or public sector.Key Responsibilities:

• Event Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government officials, vendors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• On-Site Management: Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all events comply with local regulations and safety standards.
• Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Ideal candidate

• 5-7 years of event management experience, with a significant portion within the government or public sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
