About the role
The key elements of the Function and event Manager's role are:
- Function sales (Corporate, Weddings, Golf Days)
- Marketing & advertising
- Planning, coordinating and overseeing events;
- Delivery of events to the expectations of the club and the client;
- Source and liaise with preferred suppliers;
- Prepare monthly reports;
- Work as part of the Clubhouse Services team; and
- Prepare, review and implement menu packages.

Skills and experience
You will be required to have hospitality and Events experience with a drive for exceptional customer service standards. In addition, the Club is looking for a person who:
- Performs well in a team environment
- Is agile and adapts well under pressure
- Is able to adopt to flexible rostering (weekends when required)
- Has professional phone manner and confidence dealing with members and customers
- Has their RSA; and
- Has a great fun attitude!
