The Big Group have partnered with a corporate client to forge an unparalleled realm of tailored hospitality within the soon-to-be-unveiled business headquarters, nestled in the vibrant heart of Martin Place in Sydney.
In this new venture, we will be delivering several different hospitality experiences, menus and styles of service across boardroom catering, cafés and events in a new contemporary, tech-advanced building and event space. Being the business HQ, all areas will be fully activated during regular business hours, with the event space extending to operate on nights and weekends.
To join our team in this new business expansion, we are looking for 2 x Event Supervisors to lead our FOH eventing team through service.
Main duties include:
- Support Event Operations manager to run large events within the event space.
- Run smaller events, leading the team though service ensuring team deliver exceptional customer service.
- Communicate directly with clients and suppliers.
- Assist in stock and venue management.
- One Supervisor will have a heavier focus on supporting a business lounge operating during business hours.
- Mon-Fri week with flexibility to work Tue-Sat as events require.
During employment there are also opportunities to work across other areas of our business for cross-training to gain further skill and experience.
Skills/Experience required:
- Strong experience in leadership and events.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Barista experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
