Our Venue:
Situated in the heart of Sydney's CBD in a newly built, state-of-the-art corporate building, we are operating a stunning, tech-advanced event space with elevated facilities and catering offerings. This 3 level event space encompasses a 500 pax sit down event space, pre-function areas, a gallery and other areas.
Position Overview:
To join our team on this new business expansion, we are looking for 2 Event Supervisors to assist in overseeing the Front of House operations and leading the team through events.
This role begins as a Monday-Friday work week, with flexibility to work nights and weekends as events require.
Main Duties:
- Be a key leader for the Front of House team, including running events with a hands on approach.
- Foster a positive work culture to train, mentor, and motivate the Front of House team to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
- Communicate directly with clients, offering exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of events, including rostering, inventory management, uniforms and KPI's.
- Coordinate communications and feedback amongst the team collaboratively to continually be improving services.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in events.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills.
