Venues include the very grand Gandel Hall, the magic and mystical Sculpture Garden Pavilion - a permanent outdoor marquee nestled in the gardens - as well as the newly-refurbished James Fairfax Theatre and the Gallery Dining Room.
We are seeking an Event Supervisor at NGA! Join and be part of an opening team at one of Australia's most beautiful home to the arts.
The Role:
- Experience in supervising for events (1+ years)
- Training and onboarding new employees
- Delivering high quality food and service of food items for the site whilst following food safety standards, policies and procedures
- Host and usher duties when required
- Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic work practices
- Operating POS System
About You:
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to work across a 7 day roster; hours vary due to event operations
- Previous experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment is an advantage
- Able to be a team player, with a positive and can do attitude
- Must hold a valid national police check which is no older than 4 weeks; must also hold RSA
