Job Description
As our School continues to flourish our events and community engagement is increasing, as such we require additional support with the coordination of our Events and Alumni development.
The Events and Development Coordinator, with support from the Director of Marketing and Communications, is responsible for coordinating all school events and developing a strong connection with Grammar alumni.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful Applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Experience of managing multiple onsite events, ideally within an educational setting
Experience of increasing engagement from alumni / external stakeholders
The ability to relate and effectively communicate to a wide community such as colleagues, and key people including the School’s Principal, Head of Junior School, Head of Senior School, Foundation, Council, Heads of Faculty, Heads of House, staff, parents, students, prospective families and service providers.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and database management systems.
Knowledge of event related equipment including audio visual and other marketing related functions.
flexibility, this role may require early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend work to support events as reasonably required.
Hold a current Working with Children Blue Card (mandatory)
