Brisbane Grammar School is a non-denominational boys’ school of about 1800 students (Years 5 to12) overlooking the Brisbane CBD. About the role
This is a casual position working mainly Fridays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Event Preparation
- Ensuring the event set up on the day.
- Support the attendees on arrival
- Greet and assist event attendees, providing information and support as needed.
- Ensure the event runs smoothly by managing registration, handling attendee inquiries, and coordinating activities.
Administrative Tasks
- Assist with event-related administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining guest lists, and processing registrations.
- Prepare and distribute event-related communications, including invitations and follow-up emails.
Any other duties requested by the department
Desired Skills and Experience
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in event planning or support is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
