The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) has an opportunity for a skilled and energetic Events Coordinator to join the Events team. You will join a dynamic team supporting the delivery of a high-quality program of events.
About the REIV
The REIV is the peak body for real estate professionals in Victoria. Our mission is to lead, advocate for and represent the real estate industry to advance the professionalism of members.
The REIV is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and our members must undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to retain their membership.
The Role
As the Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a high-quality program of events including seminars, webinars, Awards for Excellence program, auctioneering competitions, annual conference, lunches and other networking functions
Responsibilities include:
- Event and webinar administration including preparation of runsheets, scripts, presentations, nametags, attendee lists, evaluations, post-event follow up.
- Speaker, venue and supplier liaison.
- Providing support in the promotion of the events program and working with the marketing team to develop appropriate marketing material and upload events to website.
- Managing event/webinar registrations and enquiries.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in the development and delivery of CPD events.
- Liaising with event partners to ensure agreed partnership benefits are delivered.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the coordination/administration of events.
- IT literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Exceptional time and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with others, building and maintaining effective relationships.
- High attention to detail.
- A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- A relevant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
- Victorian Driver’s Licence required.
