Role Background
Events at dōTERRA are about igniting an interest and passion in health and wellness, generating brand and product awareness, creating memorable experiences and supporting engaged and loyal customers. We hold multiple events throughout the year including conferences, workshops, national tours, and incentive trips - both local and international. The pinnacle event is our annual Convention where we launch new products, provide the latest science-supported health and wellness education and offer a variety of creative and immersive customer experiences.
As the Events Manager, you are responsible for:
- Developing and executing the Events strategy and calendar and, collaborating across departments to develop large-scale, creative, high-quality events that drive engagement and growth within the AUNZ market.
- Creating and managing the Events budget.
- Providing a success analysis of each event.
- Ensuring current best practice in running events is applied to achieve profitability and lower overall event costs.
- Ensuring compliance across insurance, legal and health & safety obligations.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining project timelines and priorities on every project.
- Sourcing appropriate venues and third-party event suppliers.
- Reviewing, negotiating and sign-off of all event contracts.
- Working alongside internal stakeholders to plan event agendas, branding, product showcases, merchandise etc.
- Overseeing the management of ticketing, transfers, and refunds.
- Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to staff and stakeholders at events.
- Coaching, developing and mentoring Events team.
- Attending in-person at key events to manage bump in, event live and bump out periods and overall execution of the event.
