We are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead regional event initiatives for our leading Global Investment firm client in their events team. This role will be collaborating closely with various lines of businesses, marketing teams, and functions to craft impactful programs in alignment with our strategic objectives.
As the Events Manager you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire event lifecycle, from conceptualization to post-event analysis, ensuring seamless execution at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute event plans, including research, approvals, invitee & speaker management, venue logistics, event design, onsite support, production management, and budget oversight.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and venues, ensuring all event-related matters are handled effectively.
- Oversee corporate hospitality and ticketing processes, maintaining accurate records through a global ticketing portal for auditing purposes.
- Support franchise sponsorships and cross-lines-of-business events, ensuring benefits are maximised and executions are flawless.
- Maintain a keen eye on event budgets, striving for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures regarding reporting activities, compliance regulations, and approval processes, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Maintain an Events database, recording event metrics, budgets, invoicing, ticketing, and collateral.
- Bachelor's degree in Events, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, ideally within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to lead events from start to finish.
- Client-focused mindset, exceptional organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) with meticulous attention to detail; fluency in an additional language is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology.
