About the Role

This role has full responsibility for the events function nationally, including event concept and design, day-to-day management of operational aspects of running events, as well as guiding on-the-ground resources in our offices to deliver events. The role encompasses both client facing events and internal staff events, delivered both in person and virtually. Typical events we run include internal and external lunches, roundtables, cocktail parties, seminars, webinars, staff briefings, sporting events and others.

Ideas, creativity and 'out of the box' thinking to design and deliver interesting, impactful and effective events is crucial for this role. You will have the support of a dedicated Intern who will report to you. A key aspect of your role will be the ongoing development of your Intern, to ensure that they are getting the mentoring and on-the-job training that they need in order to thrive.

About You
To be successful in this role, key skills and attributes you need include:
- Experience in initiating, organising and managing events for varying sizes
- A deep understanding of tools and technologies to run virtual events
- A proactive approach to events and delivering an excellent client experience
- A creative and innovative approach
- The ability to influence and guide others to execute events in other locations
- The ability to build and develop relationships for the long term
- Experience running multiple events at one time
- Ability to problem solve ‘in the moment'
- A client-centric approach and high attention to detail
- A focus on process improvement and getting the most from the tools available
- A high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm
