We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Events Supervisor to join our Events team on a full-time basis, commencing late February 2024.
The Role
In this hands-on role, your primary focus will be to contribute significantly to the planning, preparation, and execution of all events held at Canterbury and its satellite venues along with supervising our events team whilst ensuring each event exceeds clients’ expectations.
Reporting to the Events Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Oversee all operational aspects of each event including setup and pack down, briefing and training the events team prior to service and guiding team members in operational requirements to ensure expectations are met.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers in preparation for events.
- Respond to client enquiries and concerns and addressing issues as they arise to ensure all matters are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete general administrative duties including preparing weekly reports and event run sheets.
