The Executive and Administration Assistant supports the Director, Strategy, Policy and Impact, the Director, Communication and Community Change, and the Director of People Governance and Operations. This role is part of the Senior Leadership Office and is responsible for providing confidential executive administration support to the Executive, to assist in the smooth running of their directorates helping the organisation deliver on its legislative remit, strategic plan and priority actions set out in its business and operations plans.
This position is responsible for managing complex correspondence and calendar requirements, along with coordinating and developing presentations/reports and Senior Leadership Team communications on a range of complex and/or sensitive matters.
Utilising your ability to operate with a high level of discretion, autonomy, and accountability in a sensitive and complex environment, the Executive Assistant will establish and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate the flow of information across Respect Victoria and with key external stakeholders.
Working closely with the Executive Assistant for the CEO and the Strategic Adviser you will also provide administrative support to Directorate teams.

Essential experience and skill
- Demonstrated experience as an executive assistant
- Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong relationship development and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- A track record of showing initiative that supports teams and individuals
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
- Significant technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and ability to identify and use technological solutions to deliver strong administrative support.
