The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety.

About the Role
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high level executive support to a division head. The Executive Assistant is the ‘front door’ to the division head and is expected to champion and display the values and desired culture of the Agency.
The role involves communicating and building relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
The APS5 Executive Assistant is also expected to train and develop other executive support staff as they join the division and the Agency, and to build a network of executive support staff that functions as a team, facilitating the delivery of executive support across the Agency.
The office is fast paced with competing and complex challenges arising from time to time. Judgement, discretion, tact and flexibility are critical to this role.
Skills and Experience
If you have the following skill and experience, you will be well prepared for this role:
• Demonstrated experience in providing high quality executive support to senior management, including assisting in preparing for meetings and developing plans and objectives to help the Agency meet its goals.
• Ability to work with independence or under limited guidance and exercise judgement in decision making.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop sound general knowledge of the role and functions of the Agency including relevant legislation, policies and procedures and maintain awareness of broader work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be discrete and tactful and maintain confidentiality.
• Sound time management, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of a busy team.
• The desire to develop and support junior administrative officers.
Qualifications
Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification or experience in Government will be well-regarded.

Eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between $81, 133 - $87, 741 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
